November 1 2012 – New York Region Slowly Recovering from Storm; Crosby & Higgins LLP is Operating but Courts in New York City Remain Closed

November 1, 2012

November 1, 2012 — As the tri-state region grapples with the impacts of Hurricane Sandy, New York City continues to struggle to get back to business with widespread power outages, a crippled transportation system, and ongoing logistical challenges. Crosby & Higgins LLP has implemented its emergency business contingency plan and remains fully operational, although without access to its downtown offices.  Fortunately, our email and telephone network has not been impacted, however, please use our temporary fax number (646) 365-1212 should you need to reach us via fax. At this time, the federal and state courts located in the city remain closed except for criminal arraignments and emergency applications. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the storm.  We look forward to being of service to our community and around the region in the difficult weeks that are sure to follow. If you need immediate legal assistance related to Hurricane Sandy, or wish to speak to us concerning any other matter, please feel free to contact us directly at 646-452-2300.
