March 21, 2005
Crosby & Higgins LLP is pleased to announce that Todd A. Higgins, Esq. is a member of the litigation team led by Marc Kasowitz of Kasowitz, Benson, Torres and Friedman LLP, and David Boise of Boise, Schiller & Flexner, representing the New York Jets in a federal antitrust lawsuit filed against the owners of Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall relating to the Jets proposed development of the New York Sports and Convention Center. The New York Jets organization filed suit on March 16, 2005 in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York against Cablevision Systems Corporation alleging unlawful and anti-competitive actions in violation of the Sherman Antitrust Act. The suit alleges that Cablevision has illegally maintained its monopolies in the markets for enclosed large-scale spectator events and the rental of private spectator suites in Manhattan to control prices and exclude competition.
