June 16, 2006 -- Crosby & Higgins LLP recently won summary judgment for its client Southern Signature Foods, Inc. (SSF), a pioneer and award winner in custom research and development in the food industry, for the money owed it for goods sold and delivered to a Long Island wholesaler.  Relying upon the decision which additionally awarded attorneys' fees and the right to enforce its judgment against the wholesaler's principal, Crosby & Higgins LLP settled with the wholesaler on strongly favorable terms to SSF including the entire amount due with interest, together with payment of the majority of its attorneys' fees.
